Why do churches teach about Hell? Because they are brainwashed with false teaching, thats why. Gehenna is not Hell. Sheol is not Hell. Hades is not Hell. The eternal fire is not Hell. The Lake of Fire is not Hell. Eternal punishment is not Hell.
The apostle Paul never mentions any place called Hell. Don't the Gentiles need to know about this terrible place so they can warn their unsaved family and friends??? OBVIOUSLY NOT!!!

Churches are all man made mind controlling cults. They all have THEIR beliefs, THEIR doctrines, THEIR rituals, THEIR statement of faith, THEIR gospel, etc, etc.

SGM and other church organizations
SGM (Sovereign Grace Ministries - a church my family and I attended for about 10 years) is a farce. So are all of the other denominations. It is all a bunch of man made nonsense. I fell into that trap. It all seemed so wonderful. SGM/PDI seemed to have it all. They believed in the 5 fold ministry, the gifts of the Spirit for today, contemporary worship, sound doctrine, etc. It was everything I was looking for. I had just come out of another cult that believed all of the above. So I went from the frying pan into the fire.
We were the elite. We were not like those poor Baptist bastards. This was a REAL church that was ALIVE! We made fun of the Baptists, Lutherans, Presbyterians going to Heaven first - the dead in Christ. No one was going to fall asleep in our church. We were too exciting. How did I get so freaking deceived? I want to go back and scream at myself for being so stupid.
I have friends that are still in SGM. I want to yell at them also, but that would not work. Actually, nothing has worked. It is very frustrating. I was blind but now I see. I want to tell them what I see, but they are offended by what I see. They still see that wonder that I once saw. It was a mirage. It was a hoax, an fraud, a deception. It was a counterfeit filled with smoke and mirrors.
So how do I keep my friends and warn them at the same time? It does not work. So I have chosen to lose friends by telling them the truth. Truth is more important to me than friends. I would love to have both, but that is not happening at present.

The Search for Truth
Ok, here is my very first post. We all want to know the truth. Most Christians believe their truth is THE truth, including myself. This will be a place where we can discuss anything and everything about Jesus, the Bible, church, doctrine, prayer requests, or whatever else may be on your heart and mind. This is a place for fellowship and open discussion. There needs to be freedom to post whatever you want to say. I want there to be freedom of speech. If you want to blast me for heresy, then I want to extend that freedom. And I will retain that freedom also.
I would prefer that we all be nice, kind, gentle, etc, but I realize that is not always going to be the case. I would rather someone get nasty with me than hold back their thought or emotions. I want to be led by the Holy Spirit and I hope you want that also. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. I certainly need to remember that. I hope that we all will.
I have some pet doctrines and heresies that will come up on occasion. I hope you will be patient with me, and I will try to be patient with you. And I hope you all will be patient with each other. So please feel free to jump right in and let's talk and fellowship!
